Terms of Service

Showfile ("Showfile," "we," "us") is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], based at [COMPANY ADDRESS]. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Showfile application and its public pages (together, the "Service").

Showfile is software that helps wedding and event vendors run their business — inquiries, quotes, contracts, timelines, and related tools — and lets a vendor's own clients, guests, and helpers view or interact with a limited, link- or code-scoped slice of that vendor's data.

Showfile is a tool for the vendor. We are not a party to any quote, contract, or agreement a vendor enters into with their own clients, and we are not responsible for a vendor's services, pricing, or conduct.

Vendor and Manager accounts require a valid email address and password.

A vendor's clients, guests, and task-assigned contacts reach their own limited view through a unique link or code rather than a full account — treat any link or code you're given the way you'd treat a password. Anyone who has it can see what it grants access to.

You're responsible for keeping your own login and any codes/links you generate confidential, and for everything that happens under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to create a Vendor or Manager account.

Some accounts (Solo, Planner, and Agency tiers) are paid monthly subscriptions, billed and processed through Stripe. Showfile never receives or stores your card number.

Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel any time from Settings → Billing; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

A "Managed" vendor — one linked to an agency/account manager — doesn't pay Showfile directly; their access is covered by their account manager's subscription and ends if that subscription ends or the link is removed.

You (the vendor) own the client, event, and business data you put into Showfile — we don't claim ownership of it.

You can export a complete copy of your account's data at any time from Settings, as both a full archive and CSV files.

You're responsible for having the right to collect and store the personal information — names, emails, phone numbers, and similar details — of your own clients and guests that you enter into Showfile, and for your own compliance with any laws that apply to your business.

You agree not to:

• use the Service for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful to another person;
• attempt to access another vendor's or agency's data without authorization;
• interfere with or disrupt the Service, including its rate limits, security measures, or infrastructure; or
• resell or offer the Service to others as your own product without our written permission.

You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe is fraudulent or abusive, and may otherwise terminate with notice. After termination, you can still request an export of your data for a limited period.

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any amount exceeding the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING STATE], without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
